Durch diese Bauweise kann der BLIZZZARD mit einfach und doppeltiefen Teleskopen, sowie als Shutteltransporter ausger\u00fcstet werden. Der Antrieb ist in x-Achse mittels verschlei\u00dfoptimiertem Reibradantrieb durch Vulkollan beschichtete Laufr\u00e4der ausgelegt.
